Willie`s Grill & Icehouse in Conroe

Today I ate there. A Hispanic manager served us. Great customer service. The food was delicious. Hot and fresh. I will be going again soon. Recommend anybody to eat there.

Used to be good, but they reduced their portion sizes tremendously. Don't go here, go to the Willie's at Hwy 6 where they still give you decent portions for the same food and price. This is over several orders over several months.

A true Texas ice house with a great atmosphere. Staff were polite and friendly. Food was great and very tasty. They have great burgers and I had an awesome chicken salad. Parking is convenient and easy to find right off interstate 10.

This is a walk up and order place, but there is a plethora of iced beers that greet you at the door to make your wait more enjoyable. Once at your table (pick your own), a server takes care of you from there. Laid back atmosphere and especially nice on cooler days when it's all opened up "ice house" style. Several tv's going, good music playing and a play area for the kids. Food is always tasty and the prices are fair for the portions. Wait staff always attentive and nice.

Service was excellent, but the food was average to below average. The nachos had hardly anything on them. The chicken tenders were okay. The loaded fries were good.

Absolutely love this place. We have been ordering food from Willie's since we have been quarantined. We we're able to go sit and eat inside today and it did not disappoint. The Willie's bacon burger is awesome. My wife had the cob salad and it was huge and awesome. Bianca our server is awesome. Cannot go wrong eating at this place.

First time going there.. Just waited at a table for over 15 minutes, the waitress walked by a dozen times and didn’t even acknowledge us sitting there. Such poor service! Will not bring be going back! Don’t waste your time

Food could have been hotter overall the Willy wonka whip cream, ice cream, brownie was the best. Server was nice. Catfish hot and fresh, fries kind cold, queso cold, shrimp cold. Won't visit again unfortunately.

Willie's will make you feel like you're eating inside a cool beach shack close to the sea. From it's neon-lighted signs to it's sea-eroded look, restaurant exudes a cozy and at-ease ambiance. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and it was delicious. Burger was juicy and the fries were hot and crisp. My wife ordered some Fried Shrimps and they were perfectly cooked. Restaurant provides plenty of screens to catch your favorite live sports. Outside seating is also available. Overall a great alternative and highly recommended.

Good food, good service. We were there on a busy Sunday. Fast service. Fun place to eat. When the weather is cool, the patio is awesome. Our in-laws came down for the kid's wedding. They wanted seafood. It was so good. We all sat out on the patio. Very memorable experience.

This was our first visit to Willie’s although we have lived here for many many years. We ordered the catfish and shrimp 🍤 which was delicious, it came out fresh and hot. Service provided by Christian was so good we wanted to advise the manager of same. We will definitely be coming back to try the burgers 🍔, which we heard from another table, was excellent.

If i could leave a 0 star or negative star review I would. Forgot my kids meal I ordered. Not once but 2x. Plus none of their items are right from web to in person. Wish a manager would train his people. Never again will i be going.

Goodbye Willie's, first order was good. The delivery today, raw vegetables, not steamed enough, the salmon was so blackened it was dry inside. Disappointed and I was so hungry. 😤

I'm from Austin, and with that being said the atmosphere of Willie's exceeded both my expectations, and what I'm accustomed to in my home town. The staff was quick, prompt, and respectful, especially my waitress Taja. I order small fried pickles and it was perfectly fried, I'd say better than pluckers and Buffalo wild wings. I also ordered the Icehouse burger and it was the softest I've ever had to bite into a burger while being fully cooked. I ended the order with the peach cobbler and it came on a sizzling hot plate and the ice cream cooled each bite, it was really rich in flavor and was a perfect way of ending my meal. Overall I loved both the atmosphere and the food very much

Good food, but super slow service!

Fried pickle tour: These pickles are pretty good. They're cut in chips, they've got good flavor, and the breading is decent, although not my favorite. The ranch is thick so it doesn't drip everywhere. Solid four stars. I got the small catfish dinner, which to be clear, is a full size dinner. I shudder to imagine the amount of good on the large. It was delicious. Teenager got the bacon Willie burger and loved it, and he's been super picky about his burgers lately. The restaurant is a walk up and order, but then there is table service. Our waiter was Taylor. He was extremely attentive, and it was a pretty busy dinnertime. Five stars for him. The ambience is pretty standard grill and icehouse. Paper towel rolls for napkins, sports on TV, loudish music. They have some outdoor seating, but we came on a rainy day. We will definitely come back.

Food was good and hot, unfortunately we had to ask for napkins, ketchup, and no salt and pepper on our table. Our server was somewhat cocky, along with attitude, making my first visit somewhat uncomfortable. I'll probably make another visit, but with a different server. I not for sure, but I think my server was name Bianca

Had a great time at our local Willie’s Grill and Ice House. The manager Patricia and server Christian both did amazing jobs keeping us happy during our visit. Amazing restaurant experience!

Yesterday we ordered catfish and shrimp combo with French fries, the whole meal was cold, dry and not fresh. Disappointed.

Waiter was on top of his job. He followed up with the portion size of my catfish for my meal, knowing that it was just a small piece, he came back to me and asked me if I wanted two pieces.Food was delicious. Could use more mixed veggies in the salad though.

The service was great. The food had great flavor. The prices were competitive. Nice atmosphere. It was Friday night, a packed house and we got our food in record time, but out of our 3 steaks (all ordered cooked "medium") 2 out of the 3 came out well done. It's all about the food so I could only rate it a 3 since it won't let me give it a 3 and a half.

Keep in mind this is only a "$$" restaurant and you'll enjoy yourself. Not fancy, but different food from other chains and different is good. Drinks are good prices. Ice House burger was great. Loved getting corn on the cob as a side instead of fries. No butter for the corn, but a little salt was great.Skip the apple pie and ice cream, nothing special there.Go for the bread pudding instead. No need for butter sauce they provided (it didn't add anything and was a detractor), just the warm bread pudding and whipped cream yum!Fun to have crawfish offered as a quick meal. Etouffee not as good as Louisiana, but it'll do...Saw kids in the game room while waiting for food and a good kids menu. Looks like a few options for dairy free and gluten free folks, but no posted menu (no butter on veggies for you dairy free seekers).Liked it enough to eat there twice in my trip.

We absolutely LOVE this place! I always go for the blackened Salmon with veggies and baked potato. They've got all kinds of beers (bottled) and margaritas. Casual atmosphere, but still nice to sit - especially on the patio.

I love Willies, I have been coming here for so many years. I live in Los Angeles so when my wife and I visit we always hit up willows at least once. I got their Willie Burger and my wife got the taco salad. They have such good menu items and have outdoor seating to socially distance.

Burger was supposed to be cooked well done, but was ted in the middle. The waitress Taja was excellent though.

I ate there today had a very good waitress who served us. I thought we were under the 50% seating. I tell you what we were was over the limit only 3 tables empty inside and yes they were few outside but way over the limit. no tables apart from each other. am I wrong. Bianca was my server and took care of are table.

The service and atmosphere here are always super pleasant. You always feel at home here with the gentle lighting, wooden tables, and old diner feel. The waitresses took great care of us and were able to process our large group very quickly. The food is always warm and delectable.

Wow! We got a small order of onion rings and it was more than 2 could eat. Battered well, fried softly, and taste great. My wife and I split the grilled shrimp taco's and they were superb. The corn was a little too spicy for us. Service was fantastic, done with a smile, made small talk, made good recommendations on the front end and followed up throughout the meal. You can't go wrong here, even if you go and just get the onion rings! Atmosphere is good too, family oriented so you can take your family and them enjoy it too.

Awesome friendly service from the bar to Lexi our server and the Hispanic female manager!!!!! Food was DELICIOUS, margaritas for 3 bucks!!!!!!! Im sold! Come check Willie’s out!

Girls up at the register were great. Waitress was great. Great for gatherings events and kids also. Food is awesome at a great price compared to other similar restaurants, that have same food or close to it. Very warm environment. Great for family's too.

The prices are very reasonable, some of the food was a little overcooked but for the most part it's a nice restuarant staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely come back.

Food is always good there. Sammy our server was excellent. Beautiful day to sit on the covered patio.
